Leslie was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She graduated from Sandra Day O’Connor High School in Helotes, Texas.  Leslie graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Italian.  She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Dispute Resolution and Jurisdoctorate from the Pepperdine School of Law in Malibu, California.  During law school, Leslie clerked in the Family Violence Division at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, served as a court-appointed mediator for the Los Angeles County Small Claims Court, and interned for the Federal Public Defender’s Office in San Antonio, Texas.  Leslie argued cases in the Los Angeles Immigration Court and taught dispute resolution to inmates at a detention center in Compton, California.  Prior to joining Warmbrodt & Associates, Leslie served as an Assistant District Attorney for Denton County, Texas.
